Please give me some feedback. First time posting a car on Craigslist and I want your honest opinions. Yes BTW, I am trying to sell the R. I really can't afford to have two cars at this time. If any of you are interested, I can give you an amazing deal! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Full detailed list of pluses and minuses. That's the way to do it. Price seems fair (I'm not shopping for these so I don't know). This is how to sell a car in an honest fashion.

It's really sad honestly. But dad really doesnt want me to have two cars at 16 and although I'm not broke, I have to be much more responsible with my money.
But if I could make a profit on it, wouldn't be so awful

Great ad, all the info I'd like to know when shopping. One thing that may be a personal pet peeve is RANDOM capitalized words. I know it puts emphasis on important points and it's a good way to get peoples' attention but I find it annoying. To be clear, I too would capitalize key words if I was making an ad for the sake of your average buyer.

Thank you. That was my goal. I don't want to hide anything or play any games. I want people to know what they are getting into before driving down to see it.

I wish I could. I wish I could. It's actually our one year anniversary in under two weeks. At least time is going quickly with her.

Lose the last couple sentences. If you have to say it's worth it, it isn't. Remember, it's only worth *half* the book value with an R-title. Try $2000. Rare != valuable
Of course, for better advice, email it to rob@jalopnik with the subject NPOCP so that he can put it to vote.

thank you and yeah I usually don't like the caps either but I feel that without them, the average CL browser would click away from the ad because it is so wordy.
I'm proud of myself though I love using exclamation marks and I held myself back on this ad

The ad makes you come across as an honest person. Leaving little to be asked. I would certainly inquire about it if I was in the market for a vehicle.

I do have it priced somewhat high just so if anyone wants to negotiate. I'm looking honestly for like $2500.
And thats not a bad idea; he might actually feature it because Oppo!

I would take out all the "fast off the line" and other speed stuff. You don't want a potential buyer to think you flogged the hell out of it. To wit:
"I sadly have to sell my 2000 Volvo V70R. I LOVE this car. It is so much fun to drive and handles great. It is also super practical because it's a wagon. The AWD keeps the car planted and allows for great traction. It'll haul virtually anything. These cars have a huge following because they can be tuned and customized. As is, the car has a 2.3L 5 cylinder turbocharged engine making about 261 HP mated to the five speed automatic transmission. With some tunes and exhaust work you can get over 350 easily, if that's your goal - I love it just as it is. The only reason I'm selling is that I already have a car and simply cannot afford to have both at this time."
If you keep the original ad, change "its" to "it's".

And take out the stuff about the price not being firm. You need to get the most money you can.

It's a shame that you're selling it, but I'm really glad that you got it working again. If I didn't already have an R wagon, I'd be sorely tempted.
As far as the ad goes, it's well-organised and well-written – just by that alone, it far outshines the majority of CL, and if I were a prospective buyer, I'd greatly appreciate all the information that you included. Pricewise, it's a bit on the high side, but as a starting point for negotiations, it's entirely reasonable. Again, if I were looking to buy it, I'd want to negotiate down on the basis of the incorrect front bumper and salvage title, but that starting price wouldn't turn me off.
Best of luck!

I like at the end when you said you wanted "$3250 for my R. Kelly Blue Book value is around $5000..." and I thought "Man, when did R. Kelly get into vehicle values? That's a weird way for him to go."

Realistically Im going to take around $2500 if the offer comes along. The plan if it doesnt sell in a week is drop it to $3,000 and put the words Price Reduced since its another key word for searchers .
I really dont want to sell. But i kinda have little choice at this point.
